We had a very big off this weekend on the last stage at Olympus. We are both OK, minor injuries for both of us, The car and safety equipment did what we hoped. Thanks to all who helped me build a very strong and safe car.

Wow... You guys are lucky. I suspect deformation wouldn't have been as bad if it hit in front of B-pillar, but still would have been bad.

Glad you're okay.

She wants to build a new car now, I on the other hand am not sure I want to at this point. That was all 9 lives in one off there.

Yeah that was a pretty good lick there. Same spot as my first rally car: right behind the B pillar. A good psot actually; absorbs a lot of energy slowly.

But your'e violating a cardinal rule of rallying. Let me repeat some of the best advice ever given in rally, which was acutally coined by the venerable Gene Henderson......"Don't think about it 'til Tuesday; it'll look whole lot different then."

You need to wait for another day, or maybe another week, and only then start thinking of rebuilding. Tell us what you think, saaaay, mid next week.

Good luck, and glad you guys are OK,
Mark B.

Owwwie!!!

Glad you're all right. Sorry about the car.

If your wife/codriver already wants to build another car, she gets double bonus points for awesomeness!

Mr. Timmons has a shell he needs to move. And it's black, which JV says is the only color that ever gets completed (I think he may be right, since I traded my maroon shell for beer).

Glad you guys are OK. Tough break on the car but that's a LOT of energy it absorbed rather than passing it on to you!

Wow... what a disappointment. Glad it took the hit there vice the door though. Build another one and don't crash it so hard dude! I only dream of having your fab skillz... can't wait to see the next shell go together.

My "comp" shell offer still stands, You've got the parts to fix the drivers side...

On another note, Nathan and John had a blast being your crew, well, except for Nathan getting bitten by your pit
neighbors dog, but that's beside the point... Nathan said "If he builds another one, I'll be first in line for crew."
