You both help out the rally community in different ways.
I know you *both*, secretly, know this. Neither way is any more valid than the other. Neither is more direct. You need a car to rally, hence you need car prep, hence you could use John's help.
You also need a rally event to rally, so you need organizers, etc, so you could use Keith's help.
The thing about the world that I think commonly gets lost on this site is there are so many different kinds of people out there- Not everyone wants to/likes to/knows how to fabricate or turn the wrenches on their own car. It's not a "bad" thing to pay someone else to do that. It's not WRONG to rally FWD. Or RWD. Or AWD.
Some people just WANT to rally a AWD car.
To put this into perspective, I've sold a guttermaxx system to a couple that had NO business buying it. But they WANTED it. The job financially declined as I couldn't get them financed, however, it was what they WANTED.
Different people have different interests, areas of expertise, things they excel at, and things they need help with.
Instead of debating who's more useful, be glad your both there helping the community in YOUR OWN WAY, instead of trying to prove the other as "less useful" - whether you like them or not.
