The question is how is the problem resolved.

Things can be fixed.
But that takes willingness to get the shit fixed---and generally its better to bring things up in a non-accusatory manner, presuming no evil intent---near the time things were done
NOT 5, 6 or 8 or 10 years later as you do again and again and again---another part of the mental instability thing--nerve incorporating any advice on how to fix things.

That is they very advice I have given to the fellow Brian Musson from San Jose in regards to his contacting me about his motor and T5 box which Al Kun in Mill Valley now has. I said when he called 3 weeks ago to begin nicely and we collectively ought to figure out how or why he never got the $3800 for his motor and box....you do recall the motor and box and the $3800 don't you?

So quit whining about what a big asshole I am online, quit slander me, my wife, my kids, how I live, how much money I have----none of which should be a subject for you to blather on forums as you have done again and again and again------

Sorry John, I guess I gave you too much credit. See - what I was doing there was kind of funny. A mimck/copy paste of one of your posts where you thought it would be obvious to a first time poster to the forum that you were talking about yourself as the source to talk to about engine internals.

The point was that Sean, and others, get really sick and tired of your constant bullshit and mightier-than-thou attitude that derails threads regularly and generally degrades conversations to the point of being either pointless and rude or, in many cases, to the point of being farcical.

Ok, we all know your bullying attitude, as with all bullies, comes from a fundimental fragility. That fragility also manifests itself in your tendency to overstate your position and then your refusal to 'need' to defend that position.

Not too long ago you said a rwd car that could win overall could be built on a modest budget.

I was reminded of a conversation I had with a car salesman when I looked at the WRX before I bought it. When I asked about the price the salesman just said "it's a very expensive car." I was stunned. I had to push to get a dollar value for it and as it turned out 'very expensive' was the least expensive I was looking at.

What I am saying is 'modest budget' and 'win overall' need context to mean anything. A modest budget for a VTCar or Cascade build is probably $40,000 (correct me if I'm wrong Pete)

Then I was reminded of the time I won the last stage overall and came in second overall at the last rally I drove in. That was the same year Norm Leblanc and Joe Battrick were fighting it out. Janusz Komorowski was in the mix yet I ended the season third place on the podium in my 2.5RS, right behind Tom and Amy Machnik in their Golf and a WRX swapped impreza. some 21 seconds between the three of us and all but one stage I was less than 1sec/k off the winning pace.

The reason I ended up on the podium isn't because I beat Norm and Joe in WRXs with my RS. It was because they didn't show up at that event in the first place.

When you said that a car could be built on a modest budget that could win overall I asked, in plain and simple language, if you could quantify 'modest budget' and define what sort of event could be won overall. You declined to answer.

So... the short version is the endless name calling, swearing and posturing on your part is getting really, really tired John. Most people I talk to stay away from this forum for that very reason. Others come here and lurk occasionally just to 'watch the madness in action.'

The real shame is that you have so much knowledge and skill to share John. You just package it in a way that makes it difficult for people to want to do business with you. Earlier in this thread you said 'business is business' and suggested you don't have to like people you do business with ... you're incredibly wrong about that, consumers will tend to do business with people they like LONG before doing business with the better supplier.

Spotted these three (and several others that went by too fast for me to get my camera on them) at Le Mans a few weeks ago. They were the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth ones I'd ever seen in person. I knew that had that old dog of a PRV engine in them. I did not know they were only 9xx kg.

I gotta say, the design holds up pretty well for a product of the '80s.

John I tried to get you on the telephone for at least three years about the Hornetkar engine. I wouldn't show up unannounced. It would be impolite to do so. As for 'accusatory tone......'
