if anything, the 3.3 wont give you as many problems as the turbo. Considering the turbo failure on saturday. Im sure the driveability is great too.

Yeah there aren't a whole bunch of things to go wrong under the hood, but it does run pretty hot. I'm still working on that.

run E85. I know its the normal "turbo soluntion" but it would have a lower operating temp and you should be able to run it a little leaner (and therefore meaner). Probably get some more aggressive timing as well.

A local Impreza rally car here, owned by a guy named Max, has a new H6 3.0L engine. I think he had problems with it running hot as well.
When that engine goes, go down to a 2.5 so you can run Open Light. Though you scoot quite well with the 3.3. One of the most enjoyable AWD cars this year at Olympus I thought!
