For the boise folks, we have a 1 mile rallycross gig. More miles would make it more appealing. I mean there are a few here ( rockrohrs, myself, Aj) but ill be deployed in November.

Cool. The consensus is longer. So now the question is would you come to Moscow for a 5 mile sprint you could run all day?

I will! I will! Me me me!

I would be willing to make the drive up. Are you thinking show up Saturday morning, race throughout the day, party Saturday night? I shouldn't even have to take vacation time if that's the case! Of course I would need someone to codrive for.

Yeah it would be a race saturday and party saturday night affair. I'll let this poll roll for a few more days and post over on SS too, then if there is interest there too I will go to the landowners and EMS services and get some prices.

If you're gonna post over there, say that Kenvis Blockstrana, gen-y-whine Rally-Gods are negotiating their appearance at the event. That'll bring them out in droves!smileys with beer

So if someone from this way didn't want to tow over the passes, they'd could talk someone local into letting them use their car and driving their daily out there (or flying). I like this car sharing idea. That's how I got to run my one and only sprints a few years ago, some sucker let me use his truck.

Portland to Moscow doesn't have any passes does it?
Is Snoqualmie pass/I-90 that bad in November?

I dunno, I consider anything past Mt Hood to be the east coast tongue sticking out smiley

I know that the gorge can get pretty nasty in the winter though it's typically not shut down for more than a few hours or few days at a time.

Usually not more than 1-3 feet snow in early storms.

Snoqualmie has an army of plows that keep it in good shape.

i should bring this idea up formally at the next idaho rally group meeting. We have considering doing something similiar in Boise. there are a couple good areas that are under the county we have been working with already. Would be good for those in Utah and the like too since there are limited events in the west, mid west.
