Sean, Let us know what the feedback from the tabors is. There seems to be a few people looking for 14" out east, maybe we could persuade them to get some shipped over the pacific.
KT no luck from Tabor. Says they're sold out, with none on the way.

i KNOW Burak has 14" in stock, but literally no one's seen hide nor hair of him for at least 2 months. Its to the point where I'm wondering if something's wrong/family emergency or something. The guy just disappeared.

I ordered 14" lassas thru the rallytire website May 17 and they showed up a few days later. never spoke to anyone. not even sure if i even received a confirmation email. pay thru paypal and dispute if they don't show up?

Ordered Hankooks from Susquehannock Motorsports. They're deliveries are pretty quick and they're not on the other side of the country. 6$ shipping per tire. I'd imagine your about the same distance from them as I am. I've never used these before.

seriously tempting to get in touch and see about shipping... but I'd almost feel bad burning through BFGs squishing cones...

You'd probably feel better after you saw the production dates.

I asked him for them and he said he bought them a year ago, but said he couldn't find a production date on them (there should be one on them?). My guess is that they're 2008-2009 vintage. At least they're the proper BFG brand and not the Michelin tires with BFG logo put on them, those are in 2007 production.

What are my choices to buy BFG Tires? looking for like a 185/65 or 185/70.

actually let me back up slightly

car is 2700 "Ish" 180 driver 130 nav girl = 3,000 pounds. a fresh RS 2.5, delta street cams, stock ecu. lets be pie in the sky and say 180HP/180TQ (120 at the wheels?)

is a 185 about the correct width? Should i only be thinking about WTQ , WHP when looking at tire width or does car weight play a factor?

and now back on track. What are my choices to buy BFG Tires? Tabors ran out of left side S525, and since Silverstone got bought out, new tires might come in the fall, or never again.... Pretty sure i'm going to need more tires before then....

Anyone have any left side S525s they want to sell me ? sad smiley Guess i can mount one backwards and rock my other 2 new tires that way...

I might have some used BFG's I'll let go cheap if you want, Alex. LMK. edges are worn, but have a bit more tread than the tires you showed me on Friday of NNR. lol

Jon you do everything else to excess, so are your tires the most monstrositiously humungus-est like 17-65 x 15? Or soemthing more realistic??

Alex is thinking something more real worldly for a pokey no power 2.5..

Oh wait a minute! Not so fast! I see what's happening! You figured you could be all Mr. Nice Guy and get his on some big fat meanty things---so you can beat him with a better margin than just a few seconds like last weekednd..
Ha! Youse gotta gets up pretty oily in the morning to foolz me's!

smileys with beer

(PS Hows the car? did it suffer?)

ya those "Friday specials" were ... special I have some new S525s now (used em Saturday) but Tabors are out, and silverstone tires may be gone for ever (or rebranded)

thanks, what size? 185 wide or like a 205 wide ?

and how cheap? free? $20 a tire? lol specifics matter.

I do have 4 (1 rally old) Silverstones now. and 2 extra Right side tires. (new) guess i can run one backwards or something. sad smiley

so its not a crunch .. just trying to plan out a few rallies out ... hmmf
