John, are you familiar with the term bloviate?

Where is the ignore button on this site?

Say Sean just what sort of work do you do?

Hey Sean, I've been real polite,
but I don't like newbie punk guys with chips on their shoulders calling what I carefully and clearly lay out for them retarded or "bloviating" so you have fun with your POS fwd thing, LFB straight off again and again cause LFB is indespensible I tell you indespensible...

"You can lead a whore to culture but you can't make her think". D Parker.

For the poor boy there you who started this thread, see the problem: attitude, the boy talks about how he "is convinced of the incomprehensibility of LFB", ,oddly the same words as the last couple of dozen know-nothing newbs I have head from who went to any--ALL-of the "schools"..

And yet precisely like 99% of all amateurs, he went in too hot and stuff it off the outside of the corner...

So save your $3000, just cut and paste Sean the Heroes words under your name and talk with confidence...

Actually I agree with what John has to say (as quoted below.)
Sometimes you just have to read between the lines a bit.

and that's my point, the 'good' info gets lost in the messaging because no one wants to have to sift through all that BS.

I find John's attacking style in just as much bad taste as the photos. At least the photos only illustrate the pointlessness of arguing on the web, they don't speak to John as a person or his opinions. John straight up said, "you're opinion doesn't count here."

Sorry, but I'm going to call you out on that.

Just be a better person and discuss the points of your opinions with facts and experience, w/o all the 'you've only done X events so your opinion isn't valid BS'. Or worse, "I've done blah blah blah, so your opinion isn't nearly as good as mine."

----------------------

Now, everyone needs to go over to my other thread I'm about to bump up with photos and critique my amateur fab/welding skills.

Sorry Jon if it so much effort to sift thru what YOU and your california buddy think is bullshit.

see bullshit, Mr Salesman, is all dependant on a point of view.
PERSONALLY---you 2 fuckers understand what that means? PERSONALLY I find fucking total newbs talking about "mastering this " and convinced of indispensability " that and If we had better Note and "w"recce that--
I find that to be a huge pile of shit which is hard, impossible to let slide.

A person with 4 rallies under their belt claiming that he "needs' a dog box is also a steaming example of bullshit....

I'm asking you Jon :
do you understand now how bullshit is a matter of a viewpoint?

Good.

Then to have bullshitters tell me that I am retarded is pretty hilarious--if it wasn't so stupid.

To address your bullshit:

Jon trying to help an obviously know-nothing fool to see the ludicrousness in their comments is not picking on the guy....
How fucking lame are you guys?
I know OTHER men in Northern California who do whine like you two.

I was at pains with this guys to be all gentle cause frankly when i see that car i know he's just out of touch and probably looking for reinforcement like most people in CA. Oh wait, how's my hair? Oh OK..

Now the prick is telling me to STFU....seriously I don't care if this guy is your friend-with-benefits, pretty arrogant that a punk newb who is GENTLY questioned about the uselessness of the instruction he received for his thousands of dollars, and is too dim to see the contradictions in his own words should turn on those helping and tell them to STFU?

And Burke, you're some hot shot Salesman---for you all that matters is a good line so experience doing or making the shit you sell isn't important to you or your line of trade.
MY opinion on what YOU should do to be a hotshit saleman counts for NOTHING.

Of course there are opinions that are worth more---they are opinions but the SHOULD weigh more.

Why is it that you guys with your 2-4 events think your opinions should weigh the same, be regarded as above and beyond DISCUSSION---which you whiners call attack, maybe cause you're pussies, maybe cause you mommie didn't breast feed you as a small child, who the fuck knows----.

Morison says you gotta read between the lines a bit--but you whiners complain about excessive length..
Fuckin punks, I suppose anything that ain't what 100 characters long is passe--fuck.
Finally these gems:

doesn't it strike you a little odd that one with such minimal time on gravel should be speaking --or writing--with such certainty?

Quote

How do you expect one to respond to a comment like that? Its very clear you're not joking around here. Hell, it would have been better if you typed, 'You fawkin' noob!!'.

Like a man istead of a whining child. It is a simple question Burke, you burk.
Doesn't it strike you a little off---that phrase is politness and sweetness---OBVIOUSLY THE GUY SOUNDS LIKE AN UTTER IDIOT, burke, I was being nice--"giving face". Anybody who has virtual a couple of mere minutes lifetime experience talking like "convinced of the indes...blah blah bullshit" sound like a fool, and I was so polite UNDERSTATING, ,protecting the fawkers feelings, by gently asking..

And you fuck call it "attack'. What a tool Jon.

If my 'teacher' came at me with an attitude like that, i'd tell them to pound sand too. I don't care if I was in a car with Marcus Gronholm himself, if he treated me like that, I wouldn't listen much either.

That's why you are who you are, doing what you do, driving what you drive in the events you are driving.eye rolling smiley
I didn't care HOW the World level guys who were gracious enough to take the time to yell at me, and say "Oh Jeesus that was stupid!" I was just thankful they did....all the way till i was lined up down the start grid from them.....
They taught explictly and implicitly, I learned...

Are you in therapy Jon?
I hear its the new rage.

ACHTUNG!!! ATTENTION!! Everyone listen up.....if you don't have at least 1000 crashes, you can't talk about anything driving related on this forum, you have no credibility!!

Also, if you spend your money how YOU want to, it doesn't matter what it is, if JVL doesn't agree with you, you're fucking stupid. no, not fawking stupid, but you're FUCKING stupid.

You have the right to remain silent, and you probably should, because anything you say, JVL will eventually use it against you. Remember that you HAVE to put your location in your profile, cause if you don't, how else can John insult you based on your geographical location?

ahh, John...this reminds me of the good old days on ss.com fighting about rally crossing. Now we're fighting about dogboxes.....we've come a long way, baby.

that said, John....yer still gonna make top hats for me, right? smiling smiley

also, since I'm on an abuse kick tonight, PLEASE go over to my other thread in Construction and critique/abuse my repair job with my crappy little $500 Clarke welder and tell me how bad a job I did and all the things I SHOULD have done, please! smiling smiley

(no seriously, I'd like some feedback)

Nice to see I can still get a rise out of you every now and then. You've knocked a couple tennis balls at me and my replies have gone unanswered, I was beginning to think you didn't care. And you're right....I guess if it was Gronholm in my car with me giving me instructions, and he was being an asshole, I'd probably still listen up. But we're not in my rally car, and your last name ain't Gronholn; but we'll get you in my car one day grinning smiley

smileys with beer

I think being drunk was a good way to read the last page and a half. i opened a 24 ounce beer expecting IPA, but got porter. so i opened a blue moon, but Jeana got mad at me for wasting, so i didn't waste... but Jeana and her friend opened out bottle of Parducci wine, (we bought it from the Mendocino Rally sponsor!) and i wanted a glass...

soo i'm surprised i can type right now. thumbs up smoking smiley
