Sounds like fun, but am using the last of our vacation on the kids. We where going to go up to LSPR, but the kids hinted to something along the lines of burning the garage will all my tools and toys in it if we didn;t take them on a vacation. SO not doing LSPR this year. Wish there where more rallies like this one in S.Indiana and Ohio again. Oh well, yall have fun and see everyone at 100 acres again.

Wow, what is the likelihood of not just one, but two Ford Aspires entered into a small regional event? Plus the Hayabusa powered Geo Metro that dnf'ed at the Maine Max Attack. Should be interesting. perryville.100aw.org

I always thought that the Aspire had a funny name, as in "I aspire to have a real car someday instead of this crapcan."

Scott Leonard's car is well prepped. I do believe it quite quick also. The second Aspire on the entry list might be a sister car to Scott's. We had dinner with Scott prior to Rallye de Paris earlier this year and he related the story of his car to the rest of the dinner party.

I've heard about Leonard's car, and know that he can drive as well.

Folks,

To those that have signed up, we now have 18 of a maximum 20 entries we can accept. This for a rally two weeks after LSPR. If you can make it down to help out as a volunteer, crew for one of the competitors, or just spectate, it would be most appreciated.

The entry list is here

http://rally-america.com/events/2011/Perry1/entries/

And of course, volunteers can sign up here.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing those folks that are gonna be there.

One last call for those folks already signed up to please have any friends your bringing to register as well, if they haven't already done so. The event is shaping up to be quite the rally. Thanks again for volunteering and supporting the rally.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to make the trip down.. I have a nice HDSLR camera setup with an external Rode shot-gun mic, pre-amp, etc.

Do you have anyone in charge of covering photography/video? If so, I could probably be of service. I'd love to shoot some rally footage.

Tim Williams is the official event photographer. I don't about video though. You should contact him.
