August 16, 2011 08:53AM
For immediate release:

The Perryville Farm & Forest Rally Committee is pleased to announce The Perryville Farm & Forest
Rally. This event will be held in conjunction with the Perryville Chili Cookoff and will be held October
29th, 2011. Overlooking the Mississippi river, the rally will consist of 37 miles of gravel and dirt roads
through the farms and forests of Perryville and Perry County.

Designed as an opportunity to learning the sport or shaking down a new car, the Perryville Farm &
Forest Rally features a compact one day format with two passes down each of the four stage roads.
Entry will be a $250 for the two coefficient one rallies.

For more information, go to www.100aw.org for a detailed schedule of events, supplemental

Is that $250 total for both coef 1 events or $250 per?
Sounds pretty cool! Glad to see another event of this type happening. It's what regions all need more of!

Grant,

It's $250 for both coefficients. That's right, your entry fee is $250 for what is scheduled to be 37 stage miles.

Glad to see another compact, inexpensive event added. Rally in the US needs more events like this. I hope you get a good turn out and a few newbies.

Lee, I just did a query of people in the NASA database within 100 miles of Perryville. It's not a huge amount of people, but would you like me to send out a note to them announcing the rally with a link to the web site? I know it's not a NRS event but it's the kind of event I like to support. smiling smiley

Grassroots rally. It's what I think about.

Plus Lee has been a great volunteer for RTN, so might as well return the favor.

Anders,

Thank you very much for the offer. I will certainly take you up on it. I know Rob Wright will appreciate it as well. And Wilson, thanks for the kind words. RTN is my favorite tarmac event. The roads are awesome and I always have a good time.

We're registered. Buck 25 a lot of money for a frikkin regional license - thought I was getting out cheap with the great event price. Time to get the spill kit and fuel port not needed in NASA.

First event as driver for team member Claudia Pullen. Perfect event for her driving debut and only a six hour tow!
