Hello Everyone,

New to Rally Anarchy, but not new to rally... I grew up in France watching Groupe B tearing pavement of the road and that's all I wanted to do since... I am now a bit older and finally can "afford" to realize my dream, did the 1 day program at Dirt Fish (my face must have reflect my level of joy as they put me on their home page for months...at no charge), this was like a dream... All I have been thinking now is to build a car or find one turn key...probably cheaper!!!

I drive an e36 which is an outstanding car, lapping day, drifting, just come back from Thunderbird 2012 (a real blast going 80mph sideways in the snow, not too smart)...you do have a point. Touche!!! This car can do it all!!!

By the way the Blizzak WS70 works perfectly (not need to have studs), they were a blast.

To come back to the topic, the E36 would be a great platform to allow low budget rallyist to be able to play in the dirt or the snow. If we could find an affordable way to make the suspension more gravel friendly, it would be the perfect car. Very available, very affordable, tons of spare, wonderful engine, great chassis...

Check this link out...

Let's keep on rallying...

Cheers,

Arnaud "Rno"

The shop forman at Dirt Fish, Derik Nelson, is about 90% done with his personal E36 M3 rally car. It is very high spec, Reiger suspension, extensive mods, 1st calss construction, so I agree with you. JVAB has done E36 suspension on a budget so talk to him about that. You can see pictures on Derik's FB page.

Search in the construction forum for a thread with BMW build in the name. Lots of details on building a car, and lots of stuff you can skip as well. If you have any questions, ask away in that thread as its nice to have info all in one place.
