Huh. I just took an angle grinder to the actual locking mechanism.

Ditto.

I just took the entire lock housing off the column. Then cut the pin off. Took probably 5 minutes.

There was a little metal pin. Pops out and locks the wheel, pops in when key turned. Had wheel off, turned car off and popped out pin, 20 seconds with the angle grinder and voila, no more pin.

Thanks for the help guys! I apologize for the lateness of my reply but I have not had much time for anything other than eating, sleeping, and working over the fiscal year end.

John, do I need to tone the grammar down? It can be a shock to the system to see somebody who actually searches. On the other hand I took two years of JDM towards my BA in automotive design and can provide the question formated to something your more accustomed too.

For example:
YO MaNG, StEEring locK is buMMing me out dAWG. THim TH Inkn about overniGHting a DoriFTO JDM SteeRing lock ovERnit but ish is COSTN me Bro. You FOOLs know how to BreAK the steern LOCk prisoN Stylez?

Needless to say my college thesis was graded highest in my class. :-) Just messing with you John.

I was only wondering why you'd hit the FSM......Flying Spaghetti Monster..

I hate steering locks as much as the next guy but if you're getting violent about a steering lock you need to like mellow the fawk out...

And I was graded Highest in many classes in college, too.

I have it planned for this Sunday. I have to pull the heads off my Vic as I somehow sheared the rear exaust studs bombing the mountains of Cloudcroft.
