Talking with Chris, there were more problems than just a broken axle. Something where he had an interference issue that comes up over time where the diff housing ends up machining into the trans housing or something like that?

They got the Neon back to service at BRS and it took them an hour just to get the old axle stub out so they decided to not press on since the trans needed a rebuild.
