"The recommended wheel size for the 185/70-13" is 6-7". The 165/80-13" is recommended for a 5.5-6.5" wheel. That's not to say that it wouldn't work but it may be a a bit weird since the tread width would be wider than the wheel."

more interest : may try 14 inch with the 175 70 14s

and would still like to see
185s 70 13s that should fit on 5.5 wheels, I think thats some of what John was saying ?

since it fits street tires on there now 185 and 205s on the same type of small wheel

"may try 14 inch with the 175 70 14s " Now your talking! The overall diameter will be a bit big but they hose should work on a 2002.

So hear are a few photos of the smaller tires we've got.

The first is of the 13" DMG1 tires (Garth Ankeny has requested our current stock but we will be bringing more in this summer)

Here are the 175-14" next to the 185-14" so you can see the difference in tread width.

Here is a 14" ice/snow tire (this is not the WRC tread pattern in the catalog). Unfortunately I don't have high hopes for this tire without propper studs but it could be a good starting point for ice racers and we do plan on experimenting with tractionizing to see if the compound will allow it. But we'll have to wait until next season as it's 80F today.

Do those snow/ice tires come in a slightly taller 15? Looks like they might be fun for a mud/grassocross..

I'm putting together the next stock order for the summer so if there are any special requests, now's your chance to make them.

In other news; anyone looking for tires for OTR or Magnum Opus should put their orders in soon, we're running low on a few sizes and compounds. Also, I'm working on an arrangement with Garth Ankeny to ship tires out to his place (Trackside Motorsports ) by the Portland raceway so that teams can come by and get them mounted before the rally. You will still need to contact me and order your tires in advance though because we'll only be shipping out pre-ordered tires.

Just wanted to let you guys know I'm making arrangements with Trackside Motorsports in Portland to offer tire support for the Oregon Trail Rally next month. If you are interested, get your order by April 20th and your tires will be waiting for you in Portland. Trackside is right up the street from the raceway and will be offering mounting service.

Supply of some sizes and compounds are running low so place your order soon!

I'm also finalizing this summer's stock order which will include tarmac tires! I'll be bringing in 13",15", 17" and 18", these should be a great option for Euro rallycross and hillclimb.

Let me know if there are any special requests.

No shit. I'd love to have a pattern like that in a 14 or small 15 inch.
