I make my car loader because it was too quiet. A rally car needs to be heard coming!

Yes Terraphone makes transit headsets, I have a set. I am pretty sure my Aircraft headset works with the tTerraphone, Maybe hit up a flight school and rent a set for the weekend. Test them first of course.

Seems like most of the rallies out this way don't seem to allow spectators. Which I guess is good and bad. Less chance of someone wandering the stage, but if you do have someone wandering the stage they probably aren't there for the rally and probably aren't aware that cars will be coming up fast.
