Oh, that's not right. Or at least it won't be after it goes on walkabout...

I really can't believe it hasn't caught on before. Maybe it'll have Hallie Berry for a co-driver??

Aside from the fact that it is outside most of our budgets, not sure what the problem is.

The V8 Vantage did OK in 12- and 24-hour races (LeMans and such), so I think that it would hold up OK on smooth gravel roads. However, I doubt that it has much suspension travel.

A few years ago, Dennis Chizma was part of one of the teams running V8 Vantages at LeMans, so he would have an informed opinion of how they would work at rally. Then again, Dennis likes to build Porsche 911 rally cars and that doesn't meet the "affordable, cheap gear sets, lots of spare parts in the junkyard" criteria, so what does he know?

It just ain't a dirty car. It belongs on tarmac.. and those stripes are just wrong.
I'd love to see it go anyhow.

The V8 Vantage wasn't a very reliable ALMS car so I don't think adding rough surfaces to the equation is going to help.

I don't know... I'd put my bowtie on if it meant I could take it for a spin...

And looks like Prodrive did back as early a 2006.

You got to admit, if you had the chance...

The Aston on ice was actually an exploder with an aston body. Rumor was it did some laps on the BWDS ice tracks a few years back.

Heck why not? If you have the funds and wanna play bring it out. Would be fun to watch/listen too in the woods. Can't see it being very fast in the tight twisty wood stages here in the east. Someone tell Anders that we have found his rut problem on Sandblast Rally....Just send it down the stage to regrade it between runssmiling smiley
