Sure... If they build the jump right this time.
Regional Group 2 is looking good with 14 entries so far. Too bad greenhouse has moved to grp5 but its nice to see him get into something that is a little less beat. Think we'll see more of the national guys roll up after this past weekend. -KTurner Stomp down on the exhilarator and hold on to the wheel. |

Even more beat after OTR. Did you see the pic of his old car going over the hill? As far as entries they'll probably be around 50 is my guess. Hardly any of the top guys are signed up yet. |

I'll be there to represent the Central G2. Not sure if Bushore is going to make it or not, but he mentioned an interest. And to the guys who crashed in Greenhouse's old car, ouch... |

Still both at fault though. They work together as a team, they fail as a team. I wish I could see the damn video and it wasn't washed out to find when he was calling the notes. But basically, the driver was coming into a turn waaaaaaaaaaay too hot and shouldn't have been without knowing what was going on. Co-driver called the first line way too fast, second line too slow and third line even slower without any sort of emphasis on the ! in time. If you look closer at the notes: ![]() You can see where they omitted A LOT of stuff from there it looks like. Co-driver was behind on the notes as well and didn't emphasize the caution fast approaching. Notes read Start _______ 100 ______ stay in ___ L3+ R5 into smcr 50 smcr 40 smcr ______rocks________ !L4 Also the co-driver actually called the 50 a 100. I don't see any sort of highlighting or emphasis on the ! either. I'm kind of surprised that something like this wouldn't have been mentioned by Wyatt as their team manager. But I love the co-driver comment at the end "Do you think we can get out of this?" when they're pretty much nose deep in a ditch. |

I wondered about that too. I think he might have been talking about just being able to get out of the car. If he meant car back on road ![]()

I'd agree, but still first rally for the codriver and as a driver taking a turn that hot without knowing whats coming up is pretty dangerous. |

While I agree he was behind, if it was a "small crest" as indicated by Jemba, you can typically see over those. And you should definitely notice the there are trees blocking your way on a !L4. Nonetheless, I agree, a team is a team, and it does happen. Mistakes all around. |

I left my notes in the driver's car, but that section was insanely difficult to drive through. Very rough and slick.
A lot of stuff could be easily removed from those notes, but I will say they were probably the best set of Jemba notes I've seen in a long time. At times you could have removed any and all small crests in jemba (on brooklyn, as an example) but not at this event. We didn't remove as much as I thought we would. It has been a long time since I've highlighted notes. When you go fast, everything is important, so why make a caution stand out when a minus is just as important and can have just as big of an impact. If someone isn't confident of being able to stay on the notes, then highlighting (and a working odo) can help. Yeah I do clean-up on notes as well. Mainly removing smcr at times. I'm not at the point where I can't highlight important stuff. I know WRC level guys don't do it, doesn't mean a guy on his first event shouldn't have any highlights though. I do odd stuff too like if there is a ! at the end of a line, I'll put a ! at the start of the line. Pretty much for an example like this. If I saw the ! at the smcr I would have started reading it combined with the !LR. In recce I would have actually moved the ! up there in the first place. Don't know what the original "stay in" was for because he didn't say a direction to turn. So I'm assuming it was a R6/L6 of the sort that was an easy read from the start. Whatever they deleted was underlined with the L3+ though. The co-driver threw in the towel after this off and Wyatt is in for STPR so I hope it didn't turn him off from co-driving. |
