Note to self. place extra shoe strings in mini parts/tool box next to zip ties and duct tape.

....and an extra throttle cable. I snapped one during testing on my M3 engine as well.

Yeah, do that because it's absolutely impossible to string a second throttle cable next to the first one, zip tie to original and have it ready just to swap ends when the bad thing happens, nope can't do that, nobody has ever even thought of that, so only thing to do is loose insane amouts of time playing with shoe laces.eye rolling smiley

I like that idea. Other option is to rig up the cruise control and put the buttons on the navvie side...and disable the "brake/kill" feature!

are you insinuating actually having real spare parts aboard said vehicle? Zipties and duct tape is more betterer then any OEM part.

Robert and Jim told me about people mounting them on the underside of the hood, thats what I was going to aim for in the future.

Yeah, dat's exactly what I'm incinerating. and if somebody was smrat, they'd rubber band on sumpin to keep the slime and sand off the ends.. Pop off a plastic bal, swap ends in oh a minute and be on your way..

But it CAN'T BE DONE!!!!!!! or somebody woulda in the last 25 years. so meh.

It is like some sort of slow motion nightmare.

Oh the shame! At least we avoided the ultimate shame of breaking down on the first transit. We opened it up and the pistons are nice and melty. So much for rallying on the junkyard motors...

And that girl, co-driven by a girl, was in her 4th rally ever, in a production spec fiesta, and also greatly improved her speed factor over the last race.

Yeah yeah, whatever. just commenting, doesn't need to be nit picked.
You buying a Fiesta or blabbering about how the Fiesta is the Next Big Thing to Save rally?
No, so has nothing to do with you.

...so has nothing to do with you.
It had about as much to do with me as it had to do with you - maybe more. I've co-driven that girl in that car and the co-driver in this case is a good friend and I've seen an absolute TON (pun intended) of improvement in her driving in the past 10 months or so.
In the end, I wasn't nit-picking, just commenting as well.

Its the pink wheels. Moar power.

I heard they did rather well at OTR. Really friendly at Stop. Unlike some others.
