Adam's fine. He was in the bar last night arguing up a storm.
I haven't seen the car but I gather that it is mostly cosmetic damage, it is a lot of cosmetic damage.

You should have saw what I was like when I got to the camper in the parking lot. Shit got real winking smiley The fridge with the never ending supply of Kokanee didn't help either...

Ya, don't think the car is going to be back on the road, as a famous artist once said, "Throw it in tha gutter, and go by anutha". Aiming to be back at it at PFR, might have found some "support" to get back out there in a timely manner.

Pray for the speedy recovery of Johnny Summers though eye popping smiley He went off on the same corner in the opposite direction, broke his helmet, broke some ribs and then something caused his lung to collapse. Johnny is a musician, and I hope it doesn't affect his playing or vocals sad smiley

Damn man that's just superficial sheet metal wrinkles..

It is time you become one with the spot weld drill padawan.

Cracked helmet and punctured lungs....that's rough...home there's no long term crap later... The lung will get better, the brain can take time to see results of blows... lost several friends to serious brain damage..

Damn! sad smiley

I heard you guys were "off" but not that bad.

Sucks for both of you, and hopefully a speedy recovery for Johnny!

I know that mud you guys had on Friday was really tricky.

John, while I'd love to fix it, I neither have the time or energy to do so. I also have zero tools. It's one thing to have accumulated stuff over the course of a couple of years and go at projects like these, it's another to basically steal half of your buddies garage and have to buy every little thing to complete a project. I'm also a racer first, wrencher second, I'd just rather be racing. The good news is though, this doesn't really set me back anything money-wise as the car can be parted for how much I have into it. Sustainable rally at it's finest (as long as I don't run out of cheap rally cars to ball up hot smiley )

Details man, details! I'm trying to have stuff wrapped up by the end of this next week with the (a) new car. Lots of options all over the place, I'll basically take anything awd cause I can peddle those pretty good when not crashing into stuffs.

I've crashed enough to know it wasn't going to be a big deal, we were going slow (I backed off for that corner if you'd believe it). The wierdest thing? See those two roof scoops Jeff and I hastily installed? They turned into the worlds greatest muddy gravel scooping devices and literally threw 100 pound of mud into the car while we were upside down.

Yes, somebody should pick it up. All of the stupid little things that are done to this car (even if they needed to be copied over to the other car) would be invaluable to know just duplicating the setup already here. You could build a killer open class talon in short time copying the ideas off of this car. Even just the skidplate setup alone (which is AMAZING on the front), how much is a 4'x4' sheet of 3/8" aluminum? I know if I walked into a metal shop here in Alberta, it'd be at least $200... plus the front mounting bar and rear pins are already made and ready to be mounted. Fire extinguishers, the mounting for them, first aid kit, FIA padding, the endless list of stupid little things is taken care of with this car.

As I already told Alex, I'll deliver (for free) to the border no problem, maybe even a couple hundred km's further if necessary.

I can deliver to either the BC border crossing or Sweetgrass border crossing.

If I had the time, I'd get a shell (almost free), lighten the crap out of it so it met the minimum open class weight rules with a cage, installed a $2k cage, and swap everything over. Boom, top 10 national car if driven well in Canada or the US winking smiley

You'd be under $10k for an amazing car, good luck doing that with a WRX (or STi).

Edit-
And to answer the question that I didn't, I am currently looking for $6K(I think) with everything. The price varies from there depending on what you don't want. Offers being accepted, of course, but keep in mind about 3 people have expressed a strong interest (one with cash in hand) so far.
