Biotech is easy, you just spend hundreds of millions on fancy machines and tiny vials of mystery fluid, then make complicated powerpoint presentations to confuse the investors!

This actually sounds about right from what I've discovered.

Seems to be 'real' engineer types that were forced to take too many bio classes, went nuts, and started designing fake people parts and machines/tools to work on people.

When I'm around them they start talking and all I here is 'bla bla bla bla solidworks, bla bla bla 3dprinter, blablabla'

I was in our Liquid Chromotagraphy Mass Spectrometry lab last week talking with the director of the lab about some of the statistical data issues and massive errors the software has from statistical standpoints when one of her lab assistants came in to ask some questions. It was, blah blah blah QTOF blah blah blah Ross blah blah.

Haven't seen much from Idaho in biomedical sciences, but that doesn't mean there's not jobs. Maybe more in the agricultural biotech field?

our rallycross program is more of a rallysprint for 20 dollars than it is a rallycross. I think Dick hit top of 3rd in the Salta STi. I have seen about 50mph in the Rx7 on the straight, which goes into a off camber R3 down. Good times.

Then again we usually have roll overs...

I'm beginning to wonder why I don't live in idaho.. smiling smiley There any biotech up there? Need to find Jen a job when she gets done school I can work anywhere I can find the internetz...

Right behind you. It's my understanding that folks in Idaho are very welcoming of CA transplants. The more the merrier, right?

hey, hey, hey no thread jackin lol. So prairie city the only place to close to Sac? I looked up cow mountian but I don't know how safe it would be to practice there with all the little 50's running around. Maybe a group of us could get together and chip in on the rental of some ones private road. Any body know someone with a private road?

This forum just doesn't stay on point. Part of it's charm, you'll get used to it.

Yeah but I am no where having my car prep'd and I've watched some videos, seen some of the drop off's and I would prefer to be caged before I attempt it

Volunteer to help the rally organizers, they need all the people they can get. You will learn all about how a rally works (not so simple), plus you get the best spot to watch. Also you might find a team who needs help, you could get up very close to some rallycars and see what you want to do.

Are you going to be entering in it this year? I just seen your invite to help from last year.
