John continuing to throw insults and the like is not productive and only shows all here who you are. You presented me with none-zero-zip-nadda cash. That is a line of bullshit and you know it cold. YOU INSISTED on doing this engine that turned out the way it did (wow) due to your having not much for cash. Yup; certain things I remember just-a-fine.
Yup; Something of a mystery John. I've seen Doctors, Specialists about my Medical issues. Haven't you mentioned in passing that your wife is in the Medical field? Perhaps she would be so good as to suggest a good shrink for you.
John it is painfully obvious that the reaction I get from you is due to your not being willing to face up to YOUR PROBLEMS. Do share with the room; John just how many YEARS you would not answer the telephone when I called.....
More projection on your part. Again.... The insults.... Grow up! You are how old now? John your children will be reading this someday soon. Re-read your words.... who looks the fool? Seriously.
John the only way I get your attention is doing just this. Once again you don't answer the telephone. I have no faith whatsoever that you'd do any better with an engine (or any other product of yours) I've no use for or would want any part of; having been in your hands.
John I pity your wife and children. I can just imagine the hell they live in. Now then..... John you and I still have the problem of the money you owe me and I have a piece of shit engine that you built that needs to get back to you. JohnLane Overkill is consistently more fun |

I heard a call for a Doctor in the house...I'm in the medical field and would like to officially prescribe a "Chill pill"

This is typical of trying to deal with John VanLandingham.
I got a personal message on Turbobricks yesterday morning.... You'd have to see the noise JVL went and made over on a Volvo forum that I'd never been to before yesterday. Same bullshit. He still won't deal with the issue..... Deflects...... I called him yesterday.... Some rambling about how I need to get to a Doctor about my brain and "I'm on the other fucking line" *click. wow. This from a guy who I once considered a friend... enough so that I was willing to put up money he needed to get into his house. His fuckups are my problem. Every time. I won't have him do anything for me anymore. In the many years he got parts for me, made things up.... a total of TWO arrived as promised and did not require taking it back to him (sometimes multiple times) for additional machine steps to replacement due to his ordering pistons 1mm too small to his making up wheel bearings for the GP-A Escort Cosworth 4X4 front suspension that JVL INSISTED I just HAD to have in the front of the Volvo.... one of his bearings failed at 100mph and effectively made for a steering brake so the car got wadded up badly. Since I've been done with JVL..... Sellholm's suspension and brake kit went in easily, works perfectly; as promised out of the box... Won a Championship using it. No excuses..... No bullshit.... I paid for it.... It bolted into the car as promised.... No drama. He pisses and moans about what Sellholm's kit costs.... I figure it cost about 25% of what the GP-A Escort Cosworth 4X4 front suspension ended up costing and still works today. If I need parts for it I pick up the telephone and it is delivered. Hey John.... You still need to deal with the engine. You still won't talk on the telephone. You've got my telephone number. JohnLane Overkill is consistently more fun |

I am fed up with this being brought up 2-3 dozen times 5-7 years after the fact again and again. I have written you and said repeatedly: Bring it down and drop it off, come get it a couple of hours later. There is a hoist right where it has been for years. That will solve your big grievance. Or at least your excuse for repeatedly bringing this up out of context again and again. Gentlemen do not change their minds years after a deal is done and defame others 2-3 dozen times. Take it off line. And note: gentlemen do not bring into a dispute a persons wife and children as you again have done time and again....I don't write anything about your "lifestyle' or economic conditions or relationships with others because i don't know anything and it's just not done by a man, much less by one attempting to present themselves as a "Gentleman". You have done it repeatedly out of context and its on the internet forever. I choose not to associate with people who do such things..
