Anyone have any updates on WV. I know Pete Hascher had wheel bearing failure on the first stage and was out.

Fun event. We are out because of off of the road in a slippy right 4-, but were cruising before that (Sherrill/von Kessler). Wet roads but holding up. Some rain. Just about to go out and fetch our car up after a group spaghetti dinner and a few beers. Pritchard is running a great event with strong, steady driving. Reilly Cosworth out with blown turbo. Hascher out with rear control arm failure. Van Way running well. Jari H. running well despite fuel issues requiring a fix for the FPR using a pair of vice-grips on the line. Wood BMW has no third gear, but still running.

Peace.

Wilson

Had some trouble knocking the rust off the old bones on the first 3 stages. Hadn't run a gravel stage since NEFR 2010 and was driving pretty poorly.

For some reason, they have changed the stage 5 time for Dillon to 24:15 which is incorrect as he ran a 25:15 (badly aimed lights) --we were running behind Wyatt and were catching him near the end of the stage and he was catching Dillon so were were all at the finish together....

More excuses---the engine is mysteriously down on power and we were seeing only 10-12psi oil pressure on stage. Not sure if they are related but I think it all has to come apart. Pulled the pan and found no metal slag in the bottom so not sure what to think. And, I drove like I hadn't slid a car in the dirt in 2 years....

Great event for sure. The roads were really fun and the event was very well run. The only real headache was that stage 4 was cancelled when the Zero car broke down on stage and could not reach anyone on the radio --- radio is very difficult at Rally WV. Anyway, after the zero car was a no-show for 20 minutes, they finally had us transit through the stage. Zero car had some suspension failure --- I heard that a bolt fell out or something simple.

Gage Gregory was there and he was running in fine fashion. He was moving quite nicely thru stage 5 on day 1. Got caught out by a left over small rise. Gage pulled the car back after sliding into the grass. All of the cars where caught off by this crest. Looks like a slight just past the crest when it is actually a medium left right after the crest. It became a betting game of who was going to miss the turn and slide off or make it. Only think 2 cars didn't miss it.
The Nissan pre-runner truck went off the most. He was straight up the hill over the crest. I got a complete view of the top of the truck from hood to back bumper. No harm done, backed up and back onto the stage he went. Was too dark to take pictures by this time.

It looks like the event had organiser provided notes and one pass recce. Who wrote the organiser notes? Jemba?

I am not sure Morrison, the was the regular route book and Jemba notes. Can't say how well acurate the notes where. Had to change jobs just in the spring and that time between ate up rally funds.

Props to Jari for running top three 2WD times for most of the stages until he lost his used pic-n-pull tranny 2 miles into stage 10. Tranny would still not downshift properly.

Fun event. Congrats to Eric for the win.

Jemba notes at all NRS events on the east coast, for about seven or eight years now.

John . Terratrip worked excellent all weekend once we dialed it in . Notes where pretty right on the money except for the 3 miles we had to pace on the rail road bed. Excellent times . I ended up 4th overall in O2H in my first rally with a co-driver..lol . Only off I had was stated above L4 50 cr>L4 should have read l4 50 ! stay inside cr>l4 .. we noted it and nailed it the next two times!
