Last year I questioned was I needed to work and was told no so I ran and you saw the CF because of a lack of workers. Because the roads down there are SOOOO great, I didn't want the same thing to happen again so (besides other factors) I volunteered to work instead of running. There may have been others that did the same thing? Plus it's definitley a RA vs NASA thing. Some won't touch the other.

I ran STPR over RWV because of a few reasons. Last year's mix up was part of the reason. I was also chasing points for RA central G2 championship and I obviously can't snag points at RWV.
I would have ran NEFR over STPR if they announced the Dmack cash prize before the entry deadline for STPR. Still unsure what I want to run next year. But Eric pulling off an OA win at RWV makes him winning the ARC much easier and that would mean rally Tennessee would be back next year and I don't think I would want to miss that. |

Yah, with some speed, the kink could definitely get you as the road essentially narrows in a left kink. We forgot the camera this weekend....boo
Thanks, fast, but only when I could pull it together enough to remember how to drive and listen to the notes at the same time. Not doing it for 2 years made for mostly dull driving on the first 3 stages --- lots of coasting through 5s and short straights that lead into 3s and 4s. The 23 mile night stage managed to focus my attention quite well because my vision sucks i really have to be in the zone at night and it worked out. ____________________________________________________________- One. I run STPR because it's the closest event to me, and I know a lot of the people there. So it's a really fun time for me. It's also reassuring to know that I can plan on running the event a year ahead of time, and know that it won't get cancelled for lack of entries. Only being able to afford to run 2-3 events a year, it's important to be able to plan far enough ahead.
