That's very interesting, I didn't know that regarding the rally tire industry in NA. So the ONLY ones who carry DMack in Canada and the US are OSM and Greasecar? Can someone provide me with a link to Greasecar's website. I think I may have found it but can't find any DMack products on the website.

Sorry for the delay, thanks for all the replies. I'm not really concerned about what's available in Canada and what's available in the US. I can just drive into Niagara to pick up tires if need be. Where is Old School Motorsports in Toronto? Their website doesn't have an address or phone number.

So the list so far is:
-Yokohama
-DMack
-Pirelli
-BF Goodrich

How come no-one mentioned Khumo?

I like DMack's business mindset regarding keeping their tires affordable. They seem to be significantly cheaper than the other brands. Are there any other brands which are cheaper than DMack? Who has the best prices on DMacks in the US?

Thanks again,

Carthik

Carthik,

We've had to take down and revamp our contact page as we got inandated with spam and phone calls, we'll get that info back up.

We are at 401/Hurontario in Mississauga.

DMACK is committed to bringing products to "grassroots" competitors like you and I. Old School Motorsports also offers a contingency program to competitors!

And yes for DMACK's OSM in Canada, and DMACK USA in the US.

If you need any specific info about DMACKs just email me (chris @ oldschoolmotorsport dot ca)

Didn't realize you were OSM Chris, thanks for the information. You'll be receiving an email from me in the next couple of days. When will you start stocking DMack's snow/ice tires? How long does it usually take to get a special order in?

I love how your prices are cheaper than DMack USA. It's very uncommon to find products cheaper in Canada than the US. No need to drive into Niagra smiling smiley.

Thanks,

Carthik

Carthik,

This is a question we have answered alot.

The natural reaction for just about everyone was that the DMACK snow/ice tires were a Yokohama A-034 equivalent. Unfortunately they are not.

The DMACK snow/ice tire was built and developed as a WRC tire. It was meant to be drilled and studded. Therefore the tire has big massive tread blocks, with no siping. The tread compound is also relatively hard to help stud retention.

Long story short, in North America where we cannot run studs, these tires will not offer the traction we need. We feel the only real use for these tires could be in conditions where there is wet snow, on top of a non frozen mud surface.

So, they will atleast for now remain special order...since they really are special use!

If you do want a set, we can talk.

Thanks for the informative reply. I still want a set of 14" DMG-ICE2. Do they come pre-studded? I won't be running on public roads for now so I can run studs. Can you let me know what the cost would be per tire, delivery times and how to order etc. My email address is seakayracing@gmail.com.

Thanks,

Carthik
