Any body on the WEST coast looking for a good mechanic/fabricator ?

Kickin around the idea of packin up my tools , audi and rally car and movin out west . 11 years experience in mechanical field and fab . Certified welder . Lookin for somewhere cool and rally oriented oh and a good place to make money and fund my rally habit ! Hit me up if anythings out there!

Boise has great weather, and something like 8 different rally cars that are getting or got constructed this year. 4 hillclimbs within 2.5 hours (2 within 30 min) Rally idaho, dedicated Rallyx course that doesn't use cones. Time attack/Track day every other month (more seat time than you can afford in tires for 50 bux)

It gets just under half the rainfall in San Jose CA as in Seattle.
So it's parched and dessicated, and a fire hazard most of the time. Brown, looking lifeless, presuming one can even see the hills for all the smog.

Seattle is under 40" a year, average for the whole country is 37.6"

That's 10" less than Knoxville.

It's certainly not the actual amount of rain that is the 'problem' here, it's the amount of days that it drizzles. And that can continue right through Juneuary. I love it out here though, and am already looking forward to getting back here after three years in Hawaii!

Bellingham, Seattle, Portland. That's a pretty good line of places to live. Rallies in Canada, several here. I like Edmonton also... but dude... I was through there once and it was 40 below with a wind chill of 60 below. And I like the cold!

Living in Cali has to be about like french kissing yer great grannie.....if'n it was so neat in Cali we wouldn't have so many defectors living up here in Washington.
