Well the deal was I'd assemble the motor for him and he'd plant it and hook it up..funny thing when he called me over couple of miles away he'd already primed and started it and when i was looking at the clean purdy motor I noticed the two connectors being same same (ya know how usually there will be a tang or a bump the orients the connector, or this one is male on the engine end and t'other's female and the loom is reverse so its absolutely idjit-proof) and they were very near, before anything else I asked "doooood, you sure those 2 car right?"
Well everything check and looked good and it fired and revved right to 2500 then puked and spat. Well he needed to go get rid of the rented beer we were pouring in (it was hot) and I figured let's just swap 'em but i was worried that maybe it be like on old Star trek when they got hit with a Klingon proton deathray and there'd be big pyrotechnics and we'd have to run from one side of the set to the other and maybe the dilithium chrystals in the engine computer might fry..
But I said fawk it let's just swap 'em and try, so when he came back I just said "hit it" and VROOOOOOOOOM VAROOOOOOM, and WHAMA WHAMA like 7000 no problem.
I am mightily impressed with those motors.. just the cheesoid-u-lar stamped junk for rear suspension and the fucked up front "A" arm shit sucks so bad for strength.
