you're from slightly to sooooooooooooo wrong on many points..

Hey, opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one right? I don't see anyone here suggesting someones opinion is more or less valid than someone elses I'd hope. It certainly doesn't mean I have to agree with someone elses opinion either winking smiley

Adam it's hard when actually discussing and trying to solve problems and misunderstandings to make sense of worn out cliches, even popular ones like "Everybody has a right to an opinion" .And yeah that's true, but it is also a platitude. And while nobody is suggesting somebody's opinion is more or less valid, that too is a platitude. Anybody has a perfect right to any opinion.
But it does not mean the opinion about some thing or idea is right.

People often, quite frequently make mistakes about things and ideas.

Some people are smart and reason things out pretty good.
Some are "smrat" and figure things out poorly---and never admit it.

That's where experience over time is useful: it's a good substitute for being smart and avoids "smrat" mistakes.

Oh, sorry. I thought I made that clear years ago. All of your opinions are less valid than mine.

"Mikey"??? "Michel", or "Mikka", or "Moron",...but fergodsakes, pleeeez not "Mikey".

I haven't taken pics, but I can I spose. Right now it doesn't look like much cause it's sort of half-assed patched up cause I thought I could get it running for Sat. It's only when you really look at it that you realize that the rear beam's bent and the tie rod's bent and the tie end is bent and the hole is ovaled and the axle's bent and the subframe's bent and so on.

This weekend is Pick'n'Pulling weekend.

I didn't actually hit the rock. I was kinda committed to the turn and when I came around and saw it I opened up my line to miss it and ran out of road on the far side. Was a "hm, I can hit this now and I know it will be bad, or I can try to miss it and see what happens" thing. Anyway, I don't know what the rock had to say about the whole affair because I was too busy trying to get us going again to interview it. Besides, I think was a native rock and probably spoke some Na-Dene derivative language that I wouldn't've understood anyway.

Ha, good point! I get to be in a tent. It was suggested that this time I get a site with electricity so I can bring an extention cord and put a heater in my tent. I think this is an excellent idea.

Spectator information for the 2012 Mt. Hood Rally is now available at http://mthoodrally.com/Spectators

But, like at any rally, more volunteers are always welcome!

Hope to see you there in whatever capacity,

Ben

Actually, we really could use some more volunteers for the rally. We are running perilously thin on the minimum number we need to run everything as planned. Please be willing to help, and register to do so at http://www.rallydata.com

Thanks!
