No, you're smrat with hikey booties.
Here's the killer part: when you HAVE TO push the car someday you might get some grip with decent soles. The little limp-wristed girl boy racer slippers, rotsa ruck pushing. Might make the difference between a finish and a Duh-Nuff aka DNF.

The proof is in the pudding, or mud rather.

Snapped an axle on the last hairpin of the last superdooperextraspecial stage at stpr. Pushed to our first national podium. The kicker to the whole thing is that Stpr is the rally i grew up around. This was the first time I got to rally around my fam and earlier in the day my brother (the bloke that looks just like me in the pic), a tarmac guy, laughs at me in a full race suit and hiking boots, and asks, "Those your pushing shoes?" Boy jinxed us!

Especially as a co-driver. Hiking boots for the win. If you need to get out on stage it, you are the first out the door and it is usually in a ditch, or down a bank.

Zap zap my ass...

Why didnt anyone tell me how much a pain in the ass it was to prep a rally car? Or how expensive it was? hot smiley grinning smiley

I fix one thing and another goes. Got the dash situation taken care of, then the blinkers quit working. Got the new intake/throttle body/radiato taken care of, then the water pump goes.

Now, waitin on the new heater and waterpump.
