I got some note years ago saying "lifetime ban lifted"... But the way over the top obvious favoritism, mods threatening bans constantly for things many others did with total impunity---or even with praise, stunk way too much. I figured with the New Corporate Overlords I'd peek in and see now there's "moderators" eager to enforce some bland Rah ! Rah ! Rah! Ziff Boom Bah" "What will we do if Higgins doesn't come back???" and just a slight disagreement for example with the utter horseshit of the new Canadian proposal, and its a "Demerit".. Fucking childish. I ain't a child. It seems that moderators on every forum I know are chosen for their ability to edit posts...ya know, website skills, not understanding a subject, not understanding how language works, totally superficial reading abilities, no understanding that lies are insulting, or straight-face bullshit like "We talked to several well respected shops. Trust me....".. That is insulting, but to dim bulbs they either buy it or don't understand, and think a response like "Horseshit" is offensive when in reality, that is a appropriate response to something like the above quote. In short, classic corn-ball nerd shit... Yeah webites are passé, like those old books full of drawings and tables, who needs all that shit when you can just check the facebook page or tweet and the answer appears? With maybe 300 people nationwide who may have entered an event in a year, the rally market is far too small for the stupid commodification of every aspect of the sport. But, since there's big money (oh yeah, real BIG! ![]() uh I don't know... John Vanlandingham Sleezattle, WA, USA Vive le Prole-le-ralliat www.rallyrace.net/jvab CALL +1 206 431-9696 Remember! The sysadmin over there has finally responded (after months of inquiries). Indicated might incorporate into some Autoguide app. Never before having looked at autoguide I took a look. That trash appears to fit with the NWO of rally.
I like Tapatalk because it is fast and doesn't include a bunch of useless crap on screen. Guess Rally Anarchy is the only place left. Wish it was Tapatalk enabled. |

Wow they actually lifted the ban? I figured by now not only would you have been banned but would be "swimming with the fishes" or have joined Jimmy Hoffa after some SS hit squad had hunted you down. Twitter and Facebook. I don't use them. I don't like that to read someone's Facebook page that I have to register; which I won't do. |

For the most part the web is very broad but not all that deep, twitter and facebook like things add to that. What I am saying is there is information about almost everything on the web/twitter/facebook but not very detailed or good information about most things.
For the most part this is true of the news stories and commercial content on the web too. A little bit of info in a graph but no info on source of the data or what the data is in the graph. I know nothing about SS these days. In the long run reality always wins. |

Funny this thread...
12 days ago I sent an email to the admin, looking to get a new password - I haven't posted there since '05, email from then is gone - as I wanted to weigh in on the CARS class thread. After 2 days of no reply I decided I would "just re-register". Ha, still waiting for "approval" even after sending a response email to the admin regarding getting my account approved. Hmmm Matt |
