How many competitors did more than 3 National events?

I count 20. 13 did all 6.

Hmmm. Who are the 13?

Higgins, Antoine, Lauchlin, Crazy Leo, Yeoman, ACP, Sterkx, McNelly, Verena, Cline, Van Way, Moyle, Steely

If I counted correctly.

pricing will probably decide whether I try to run Olympus or Oregon Trail this year

if it's cheaper to tow and hotel at Olympus + entry than it is for OTR, then I guess I'll aim for that, as a little guy my first time out (on that side of the car) it's gonna all come down to $$ and policies, etc

Thats exactly what i was thinking when i started reading this thread. If the locense is gonna be ridiculous, im not spending money on a years deal for one rally that will expire just before i go to try it again.

Was there any truth to the WRC officials coming to spectate/observe Olympus this year, or was that a joke?

I think the split from RA is a good thing. There was 80+ cars this year at Olympus. Aside from a few of the open cars I was more interested in seeing the privateer entries. The 10 fwd msport fiestas are pretty boring to spectate.

I could see crazy Leo, Antoine, & Chris D, still entering just based on local fan base and location.

Wouldn't count on that. Antoine and Chris are on tight (relatively speaking) budgets and I doubt whether either are budgeting funds for divisional events. As for Leo, I would also doubt that he would run a divisional, though if he did, it would likely be something back east, in relative proximity to Toronto where he and CanJam are located. For example, he ran an Ontario regional last year for the seat time and deliberately took a time penalty at the end so as to not take points from the regional competitors.

Chris's main sponsor is a Rally School in Washington, my only reasoning behind that.

Actually, I believe Ford gave him the most help last year, though obviously the DirtFish connection is an important one. Nonetheless, if they didn't budget for it, it might be tough for him to get out to another west coast event. Also, with a baby on the way in March, he may have other things on his mind.

So olympus is offically the 21st of June. The idaho rally is tenative the week or so before. So I have this feeling that it will affect attendance. And then we have nothing to do until October.

and by that i mean the PNW. Going to have to pinch my pennies and sell of redundant organs to make the rallies I want to this year.

Oh crap. I really wanted to run those 2 but if they're a week apart I'm not gonna be able to... too much outlay in too short a time for po' folk even assuming the car can be made ready that quick....

yep... Glad I volunteered to do pre-event stuff for Oly - making it up there was going to be a stretch anyways, being two weeks after ID will make it a no-go for sure.

You got somebody to sit in the right seat for ID? (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more, eh?)
