novice with an idea (probably a bad one...they usually are)

Buy the redMK2, clean out the tank, unplug the lines from the injectors and blow them out. Reinstall with new filter and high octane fuel. Dump in a can of water remover to be safe and drive it home. Take a truck/full size van w/hitch(just incase) to bring spares back. Worst case you have to rent a tow dolly and drag it home. Atleast that would be my plan if I had the cash. Anyone want to buy a Talon

HOnestly you can't beat that deal if the car checks out. I would love to have the Merkur also, It's a glorified mustang underneath. Just handles better.
