no soundtrack on stage

however, hwy 22 between Grand Ronde and Hebo, the Corrs, Forgiven not Forgotten (the whole disc minus track 11)

That is a fun section of highway. It gets even better past Hebo on your way to Pacific City. Following the little Nestuca, beautiful drive anytime of year. I always enjoyed following the chip trucks who were keeping up with the sportbike riders up ahead.

As much as I am not a fan of Linken Park... "In the end" is stuck in my brain from that WRC mashup video.

But on stage, there's no soundtrack except what my co-driver is saying and the engine revving.

As far as shop soundtrack? Now that's a different story. Lately I had been listening to the Drive soundtrack and various tracks by the artists on the soundtrack.

I am really not a Linken Park fan but have to agree. If you hear that song, you think of that video.
There are songs that might get one pumped up to drive. They may even come to mind when you're sitting there waiting for your minute. Maybe even when you've pulled up to the boards. But once that 10 second countdown starts, nothing else is there. I love that feeling of anticipation, slightly queezy feeling as the seconds count down. Adrenaline starts to secrete. Slightly naseous feeling. A little apprehension. Mash the throttle, drop the clutch, and voila, you've never been more alive.

Sir Reg, there's something about Irish Folk Punk that says "RALLY!" to me.

Who has experience riding a motorcycle and listening to music via earphones?

I always found (when I was younger) that the heavier the music was, the more aggresive I rode.

Probably the most scary was riding an RG500 Gamma listening to heavy metal, getting into the music and then hitting the power band. Damn that was a fast bike and scary at the same time!

Yeah, I almost killed myself the first time I rode a CR500.

Mine would be some Rob Zombie:
