Ok, so when you fantasize about blasting down that perfect stage in your ultimate rallycar, what song is playing?

Honestly in that ultimate rallycar on that perfect stage there is no soundtrack. One of the things I love about rally is there are no distractions. I'm thinking of absolutely nothing else but what is happening at that very moment. This is prolly cuz I suck at it enough that if I think of anything else, anything at all, we'll venture off into the scenery but I digress...
Cuz if I'm watching the incar afterward, Rammstein's Tier is blasting at a billion dB.

Whenever any of us hears that one Linkin Park track (in the end, right?) on the radio we say "hey it's the rallycar song" cuz of Pou's wrc vid. That was what, a decade ago?

When I am driving well I am very focused but also relaxed. I don't want any distraction from that feeling. Hearing the engine and the gravel under the car is my sound track.

And his other awesome video that used Stabbing Westward's "Save Yourself".

(That'd be the one that he stopped the song in the middle of the video so we could hear Francois Delecour bitching out his co-driver)

I've been known to sing Bonnie Tyler's Holding out for a hero at the start line. Anything by rise against is good rally music.

Just last week I was leaving home to go to work, and pulled onto the sea to sky highway (I live between Vancouver and Whistler). After a couple of turns along the scenic highway that meanders the coastline of Howe Sound, Linkin Park came on the radio.

Watch here

It was the song from the epic 2001 WRC compilation by Pou.

Since I'm not racing down stages anymore, all I have are the memories. This one song from that WRC compilation, takes me back.
