All an effort to get 8 valves per cylinder.
No they rule they were skirting was one that said max 2 cylinders
Nothing said the 2 had to be round.
I thought it was a 4-cylinder, and the street version of that bike was $75k.
Intake valve area, the key to making power.
Or if one is blessed with an engine without all those crutches and unneeded junk like valves and cams, port area...
And firing more frequently than every now and then like some things (groan).
If you can call those tempermental whirly-round "engines" a "blessing".....
I was thinking of things I spent years working on that do better hp and torque for their size than these things all the girly-men like with 16v and Turbos and ECUs:
Poppet valve junk can never have that kind of area.
