You the one who stopped to almost tow out my rental Kia Optima on the Southern Loop? Gotta love manumatics that don't actually let you hold a gear....

Alright, found my truck.

91 F-250 4x4 extended cab (not a crew but good enough for me) posi rear, locking hubs up front. 7.3 IDI diesel with turbo.

A lot of maintenance has been done on the motor, steering, and brakes so it runs strong and rides great. Aftermarket flexsteel seats so nice and comfy for a long haul.

Autotragic trans, but just rebuilt and should I care to do it, swaps to manual are pretty easy. I don't plan to put a ton of miles on the truck so hopefully the trans isn't something I'll need to worry about.

Doesn't look too bad for a 20+ year old New England truck. Keeps me out of the commercial vehicle nonsense, too.

Thanks for the input, I think this will be a versatile truck and do what I need.

Tim.

Nice choice. Sounds similar to my previous truck, although it was a 460 gasser (8mpg!!)
