One part of me wants to scream in response to your "she's cute." But, because part of the point of this discussion is to brain-storm on how to increase the visibility and amount of rallying in the US, I will hold said scream within me because I'm aware of how of our society works.

With that said, I'll add that I am annoyed by attractive blonde Swedes in pink Evo Xs (emblazoned with "the power of powder" no less) almost as much as I'm annoyed by Danica Patrick in her underwear, leaning on the hood of her car. And if, sometime in the future, you say that "the guy in the blue Evo is slow, but his co-driver is cute" I reserve the right to poke you in the snoot, since that's my daughter.

No worries. Honesty is the best policy and I honestly would have just registered the pic I saw as another person in a race suit if it was a pic of a guy. Most guys. If it was anyone I had met, it would be that mental connection. As it stands, she could have been wearing a parka/cold weather gear and I would have still said she's cute. And unlike most behind the scenes 'hubba hubba look at her' talkers I would tell her to her face if I met her.

As for your daughter, as long as she would be over the age of 18, I'd compliment her... but given the fact that I'm quickly getting more gray hair than brown I doubt I'll look all that threatening in the "smooth talking Lothario" department. smiling smiley

B-Spec is just another sub-class under Production. It's only been around for a year. Verena Mei won it last year.

Whether it will succeed for the manufacturers or event organizers is beyond me. That it has been around for a year and hasn't gotten JVL's attention is not a good sign.

I will admit, the only reason i knew about it was seeing fordracingparts pic of the parts... and that was only after seeing a pic of Verena. She's cute.

I don't know anything about what she's won or not, or how hard it was for her - all I know was, she and her co-driver were both grinning ear-to-ear and waved every time I saw them at 100AW out on the stages. Obviously, they were having a considerably good time; an' THAT'S what it's all about, innit?
