And I think that one-time license is for a single regional. So, if you want to run both events at STPR for example, you may as well get the year-long license.

Am I right?

The license fee increase was made last year (Bulletin 2012-005, December 2011).

What the new Bulletin did was introduce single event licenses (for those of you who only do one event per year) and the additional fee needed to go from a USAC rally license to a RA rally license.

And remove the ability to purchase a Regional Lic by us Canadians for $75. Now we can buy a one time Lic.

So in a way its a nice FU to us Canadians who would want to run more than one event in a region. Oh and I love the extra $5 per crew member per event... Like they don't charge enough for events.

No, that was in last year's Bulletin as well. Refer to item #1 in Bulletin 2012-005.

That is a direct pass through from USAC. The crew members are covered by USAC's insurance should a car fall on them.

Just explaining it, not trying to justify it.

The entire fee section was restructured because it was hard to read as it was before. That is why all of the license fees are listed in the Bulletin. The content that was changed by the Bulletin is underlined. There is one strike-through in the Bulletin that shows text that was moved to a different section as part of the restructuring.

Yes, they went back to being good for the calendar year in that same 2012-005 Bulletin last year.
