Why the heck would you want to be a scientist when you can be an injuneer?

Post-doc chemists give me face palms all the time.
I think I want to take some chemistry classes. Considering we own an ICP-MS and I have used a few different HPLC-MS machines.

Cuz I have a brain! No seriously, I'll do either or if there's a program for it.

Grant: Instrumentation was actually a fun class. HPLC, GCMS, UV-Vis-NIR, NMR, and all kinds of smaller things to break I mean lose the pieces to I mean... learn how frustrating it is to hook up a pc from the mid nineties to a brand new multi million dollar machine! (Seriously anything with a quadripole mass spec on it kicks ass.)

Relatedly, my April Fool's this year on another car site was a discussion of the new finding that ethanol can spontaneously become octane and water, due in part to ethanol's negative latent heat of vaporization, and how this can ruin a tank of E85. It was fun.
