Maybe we can take up a collection and buy Fogg out. I'll throw in the dollar he paid for everything to start with.
Rumor has it the RA motorhome may have been repoed. They were in a rented one this year (which actually costs more than one the payments aren't being made on).

I'll put in ten bucks. Then they can say they took the business and grew it by a factor of ten before selling it! Marketing Genius!

They are both ok. There were lots of cars off, the most I have ever seen at one rally.

SS7 about from 6th car onwards got assigned time. Farce majeur 16m35.7s
Wonder what happened?

Fetela/Dorman, 9th on the road - sitting 8th overall - rolled adn ended up blocking the road. We started 16 minutes behind them and while we were slowed down, we didn't have to stop like several of the cars ahead of us.

Herodos/West were parked on their side earlier in the stage and Garth/Clark went off big as well on the same stage.

I wasn't aware of any stage being transited, buy we were upper third of the field and didn't see what happened beyond the first stage Sunday where we exited with a broken control arm.

OK what happened to Al Kun and Pat?
Al's car looked worse than Antoine's from a distance.

There difference is Al has at least 2, maybe more 3 rolling shells just on the side of the garage.

Ahh... there's the problem. He should look for the shells that won't roll on stage! ;-)
(If it's not funny, I blame sleep deprivation. Got home to Calgary at 6am local after driving home)

Kinda a big bummer cause he was swapping good times with John Reed and Adam Crane and the co-driving with Pat was working he said. I told him "You must become one with the spot weld drill"...

At least he planned ahead getting the extra CARS--not rollers, whole cars.

Massive bummer, agreed.
I hate seeing anyone ball up a car.

I thought it was funny.

And I had trouble driving home and I'm only an hour and a half away and was only volunteering, lol.

looks like all those $$$$$ for "national" entry fees are going towards licensing dramatic music:

I'm expecting R-A to release a similar video for Al any minute now.

That rally damm near kicked my ass! I was so tired last night I decided not to drive home.

I have never seen so much carnage. Our car was falling apart. We couldn't fix it fast enough. The exhast down pipe separated from the manifold, destroyed the studs and then wore a hole in the oil filter. The noise, fumes in the car and that heat really sucked. I even had to push the car through part of the last transit because the engine electronics were all screwed up.

The funny thing is that I had a great time!

Yeah, we found a berm and ended up like this. But it's just another Blue Subaru so I'm sure nobody here gives a shit. smiling smiley

I have some video that I can post up later when I have more time.

The car won't be too hard to fix. Worst part is damaged strut. A couple days in the body shop and some bolt-on's and we should be ready to go for Idaho.

Definitely don't feel too bad after seeing the cars of Antoine, Lauchlin, Murdoch, Kun, Crane, Roberts, and Garth - all of whom rolled and looked worse than ours (except maybe Crane's).

Doug
