The ears didn't bend. The body did. Not a great photo, but the one with the "L" on it is bent close to the threads.
Trying to figure out what to do with it. Accepting any suggestions.  I already called Rallispec and I might be able to get a new body shipped in a couple weeks, which may just barely meet my schedule.

Bugga. What's the size of their insert? I recall they're some annoying size... Maybe they could have trobled themselves to use chrome moly in ALL their stuff, not just the $7500 stuff. Whip it apart. roll the inset on a granite table if you have one... Whip other apart and do the plunge test..Swap in insert from "bent tube " into allegedly good 'un...plunge.. Gotta nail down if its ONLY the lower tube bent...or if there's more..and quickly.. EVERYthing takes too long.
