I hear they lost 24 yesterday. Cody crashed, the Recon rabbit hit a tree head-on (2nd hand info). No word on 'our' guys. ACP crashed also, not sure if serious.

Nothing on ACP except they are still in 2nd, so maybe a false alarm. Morison is out though. Block took 12 seconds off Higgins on one stage. Reeves still flying along, fast kid.

Didn't they end up transiting one of the stages? That is probably where a lot of the 1-2 minute late/early to ATC is. It's tricky sometimes trying to remember how to calculate the in time for a thrown stage that you end up transiting through.

SS7 about from 6th car onwards got assigned time. Farce majeur 16m35.7s

Wonder what happened?

That really helps some of the terminally slow cars.

Hintz broke a motor mount and fan blades. May re-enter Sunday. I didn't see anything in the updates on the others. RA sure does a minimal job , guess I need to do the twitter or face book thing,,,nah.

Did not break any motor mounts. Quit spreading false info, Gene! spinning smiley sticking its tongue out Best guess is a rock got flung up in there and took the blades out. It's got an electric fan in there now, thanks to Tino Fortunato for the hookup. Got the Hintz boys back out to set some good times on the last 2 stages but they hit a big rock right in the center of the skidplate and cracked the oilpan. Oil gushing out when he rolled into service so we called it a weekend. Too bad, Dave was running 5th overall when he dropped out. Made a lot of fans with his spirited driving. For some reason he doesn't have any problem with understeer even with a motor that juts out twelve feet in front of the car. Must be doing something wrong.... eye rolling smiley

From the RA website : STAGE 8: Brother duo Dave and Rick Hintz in their 1999 BMW M3 broke a motor mount and sheared the blades off their fan. They will try to fix and reenter the regional rally on Sunday.

Now seriously who are we to believe..you who only work on the car or RA who only speaks the truth about all things rally related??

Tis a shame, they looked so awesome on the hairpin at PIR , smoke rolling off the back tires. Too bad about the understeer issues. smiling bouncing smiley

Maybe we can take up a collection and buy Fogg out. I'll throw in the dollar he paid for everything to start with.
Rumor has it the RA motorhome may have been repoed. They were in a rented one this year (which actually costs more than one the payments aren't being made on).

From what I gather, Al lost a rear wheel at speed which spun them, they hit the bank and a large rock which flipped the car roof/nose/wheels. It is surely done for.

Dave Clark was just coming to grips with all the torques, and proper brakes/suspension. It was alot to take in so he just went fast enough to learn the car. Sunday we were within 15 seconds of Adam on the fast stages. Dave needs to work on braking, as he is very gentle with them. Once he gets that figured out he will be wicked fast in that car for sure.
