I drove a few Divisionals back in the early '80s in my Fire Arrow. Had 2 3rd's and a 7th overall. At the time I liked road racing formula cars better so I kept driving there, and Co-driving on off weekends. I'm sure one day I'll go back to road racing as you have more racing opportunities in a month with a short tow and a better chance to win some type of contingency money. At this point I'll guess there's more nice rally cars from the last 10 years rotting away in garages or under tarps than race cars. And that's a sad state of affairs. Sadly you're right about rallycars rotting away.... in too many cases not even under cover. ![]() Sean there are some deals to be had in used rallycars that go a LOT better than the Fire Arrow did. Welcome back. JohnLane Overkill is consistently more fun |

Actually, I would favour a fixed height for every post that reduces the font size as the word count of the post increases... BUT..if you go up in flames like the guy in the Dodge did..you lose your entry fee. That would be the downside to recce in a rally car. |
