Ya know, a few of us were talking at a rally this past weekend and I was a bit surprised when they suggested you were little more than a shit-disturbing troll. "[jvl] posts what he posts just to get a rise out of you" said one, with others nodding. I defended you, and strongly questioned the idea that you would put the effort into trolling as much as they suggested you do. On reflection, and in the context of the quoted post, I see they're right. So, troll away - with it all in perspective now I wont bother taking the bait anymore. Right on cue. Nobody said anything about feeling 'attacked.' All I learned was how universal it was that people just dismissed your trolling for what it is. What I had characterized as 'bullying' before (Seen above in 'Pooooooor little who ever') is really just baiting. Again with the misrepresentation - Nobody's pouting about not going to events if they don't have 2 pass recce. Far from it. We're all in this for fun and some are saying without 2 pass recce, it isn't fun enough for them to enter the event. No 'demands' to add recce, other than 'voting with their entry' or lack thereof.' As much as you tend to read non-existant intent 'between the lines' of just about everything, I had mis-interpreted your snide comments as having more 'intent' than to simply 'wind people up.' But that's the thing. When you're actually out at a rally, chatting between stages, there just aren't any chips on any shoulders. Particularly from the newbies - a ton of smiles and laughter and 'that's amazing.' Damn... I fell for bait again! As a side note: This will be 10 of the past 13 years there has been some snow somewhere on this weekend and it will be every year for the past 4, I think, that we've had 6" or more somewhere on route. Last year was the first in four years that we got all of our planned stages in without loosing any to snow coverage.
