with my rear wheel drive experience, i've never taken to using my left foot for braking. seems to unsettle the car more than anything.

Up to this year, I had mainly only used my left foot for walking, running, scratching my right ankle, and as a foundation when Kicking Ass. Occasionaly clutch-work.

However, with the re-introduction of grass-o-cross to this area, I've been tryin' to put that lazy sum'bitch to work on the Brake..... with mixed results.....

I haven't been up to Tim's since the year NASA sanctioned the TON rally and Anders was there (and Amy showed up with the 0 car about 1/2 hour late and the rest of the ATC staff had gone for coffee and all the entrants showed up.. grinning smiley ). If Tim hasn't actually BUILT roads, he's sure as hell thrown at least one or two of Ken Block's Zero Halliburton briefcases full of cash at gravel to build up old logging paths on the property he leases/owns (I heard it was a 99 year lease from a guy who heard it from a guy, so whatever) so they can take 300 days a year of abuse. NOTHING can deal with the two months of New England mud season (snow melt), so Tim usually shuts down then.

Waaaaay back in the day, I did a rallycross up there in my welded-diff shitbox Merkur, and Tim wasn't too happy at me for staying in it well after the finish line (but the uphill hairpin left after the finish was the most interesting turn there, and I actually got the car to rotate pretty good...as I heard I guy who heard a guy say Tim said, just before he scolded me). Tim has always been pretty protective of his roads, which (yes, John, I know this isn't proof) leads me to believe he has thrown money at them that he can't afford to piss away to abusive morons.
