Nameless Rally Cloquallum Stage
June 20, 2013 10:50AM
We have quite the entry list and some heavy hitters showing up. http://www.nasarallysport.com//results/2013-Nameless-Performance-Stage-Rally-Start-Day-1.htm

The Cloquallum Stage on Sunday will be a no recce, route book only stage. This is the official power stage for NNRC, the winner in each class automatically qualifies for the year end shoot out.

Magic Auto Repair is putting up a $100 for the winner of 2WD and AWD on the first running of the stage.

Sean Gallagher has sent me $100 for the fastest 2WD on the first running. Real men don't need recce. Thanks Sean!

John Reed has pledged $100 for the stage winner and $250 if that winner is 2WD !

This should be totally doable at this event with the 2WD talent showing up.

I heard rumor of another donation but haven't any details.

Going to be one heck of a weekend.

I almost posted something about this when the notice went out to competitors. I was going to title it 'Gimmick Rallying is back...'

I'm still saddened that we couldn't make it to the event - was looking forward to it.

Everyone seems pretty excited to be running this one. Its very rewarding to see the hard work materialize in a good entry field.

I'm just the spokesmodel. These events are the result of many people chipping in their time and resources to make it happen. We all know that but I like to share the blame, er I mean credit...

Given the option between Gene being a one-man-show and wearing his usual attire and Gene being a spokesmodel and wearing a bikini.... I'd prefer to think of Gene as a one-man-show.

Really sad I can't make this event, work and budget both got in the way with the proximity to Idaho. Ran Olympus last year, made the choice to try Idaho this year. Wouldn't have been missing it quite so much except for the grassroots feel the event now has, which is what I prefer. Thanks for all the hard work everyone has put into this and other rallies in our region!

Gene, put me down for $100 for fastest car through the stage, an extra $150 if that car is also 2WD. And if it is a Toyota driven by some Aussie nutters, then we will have to throw in a case of Fosters or something to boot! grinning smiley

Shoot me an email and I will find a way to get you the money. I plan to come spectate, just not sure the exact schedule.
