BRS: Who's going to watch?
September 17, 2014 08:48PM
Seems I'm going to end up just spectating at Black River this weekend, and most of the time I'll be on my own.

Any of you anachists going to be around and want to hang out?

Also there competing. We are in the yellow and white impreza and free candy van (also yellow and white). Not sure if we'll repeat 2012 but certainly going for a 2wd win.

Be easy on him.
It's hard to believe, I know, but some people have family priorities that keep them from going to rallies barely over an hour from their homes, let alone one that is at least 3 hrs one way.

I haven't been to a rally in at least a couple years…probably about the same time frame as John. I know he had tongue in cheek there. I think he needs to chill a bit and let other people blow their trust funds, but we're simpatico.

At this point, I just try to get to kids games as much as possible, make enough money to pay some of the bills, run a Lemons race or two a year, and attempt to keep my shitboxes running and my house from falling apart.

Yeah yeah you know I was just parodying thosae trolls giving me shit for not going out jerking off whn I have such limited time and 2 of the sweetest 2 girls the world has ever seen which I'd perfer to spend time giggling with than looking at other people flailing around..So screw all that--the real question this is important is have you seen Shaolin Soccer by Stephen Chow?
Din't you mention soccer?
You have to watch this, hilarious and so true...
A taste, after they have been training:

Ok, so sorry I didn't get to talk to any of you much, I was pretty busy, and so were you. But I did get some ok pictures!

KTurner this is you, right?

Here's one that came out almost great...

McGinn?

Hille

Here's another nice Merkur

Rebuilt ranger kept it clean and quick

I saw a MR2 with a hood on it like this at ESPR 2013. If this is the same one, It picked up a TON of speed. Very very fast.

Ian Kessler in a Cavalier. Not something I've seen on a stage before

GoPro video of a straight from far away isn't interesting... Here's someone trying to make it more so :-D

Here is my favorite photo of the event. On day one I was at a straight where they hit the brakes right about in front of us. In the photo, the direction of travel goes from left to right. The 2 braking marks are from the 1st and 2nd placed cars. Picture really speaks a thousand words here!

Lantzy! I knew I saw that name before!

The last photo is just of the dirt and the braking marks in it after the first two cars went by. 2nd place hit the brakes and locked a bit about a car length sooner than 1st.

So I guess that's your braking mark on the right grinning smiley
