Be it Stage Rally or Rally Cross, land use and acquiring land/roads is a monumental task. Between Butterflies, Spotted Owls and Mazama Pocket Gophers being endangered species, to protection of streams in the forests the ecological hurdles are huge (if you can get that far).

Just an FYI I am an environmental consultant and have lots of experience helping people jump the ecological hurdles. So if you run into issues let me know and I may be able to advice you. Rally cars on roads should not be an ecological issue on federal lands. mobile critters are a bit more complicated.

Thank you Matt. The Mazama Pocket Gophers were (are) a nightmare here in Thuston, Lewis, Mason and Pierce Counties for rally cross sites. Federal Lands I've only inquired about and haven't had to work through the process yet. I'm assuming that would need or should be addressed before the initial application to the USFS?
