Cochrane Rally 2015

As some questions have been asked regarding the Cochrane Rally running this year, let me allay those fears Cochrane Rally 2015 WILL indeed be running on the 14/15th March 2015. Just waiting for the website to be updated with all the relevant information. The 14th will be Recce and 15th Rally.

So for all those south of the border this will be a good priced start to the year, $650 Cdn approx $7.65 per stage Km or at todays exchange rate $9.80 US/mile we are looking in to an event hotel rate in Cochrane for those who would be driving up.

The Cochrane Rally 2015 is coming together quite nicely, 16 entries so far,and 2 who have said they will be sending their entries tonight not too shabby for 26 days before the event! I was out checking the roads at the weekend and let's just say it's a good job it's a regional event as 95% was ice, with a little gravel spread around in places. Not a lot of bare hard pack, a little covering of fresh snow at the higher elevations. It's shaping up to be a fantastic opening to the 2015 season. How many more of you will be entering and having fun on the 15th March? The entry form can be found here cscc.ab.ca/cochrane It would be great to see some of our Southern competitors out playing on the icy/muddy/snowy/dusty roads, and that can just be one stage well it is Alberta!!!

21 days to go, and 23 confirmed entries. I also had a couple of "we've just bought our first rally car how do I enter" calls yesterday so I'd say it's looking good for the Image Autobody Cochrane Rally being a fantastic start to the 2015 Western Canadian Rally Championship.
