John Forespring RIP
February 17, 2015 04:20PM
I understand John passed away this last weekend Feb. 15, 2015.

John put years of his life into rally events in the PNW starting in the 1980's. He was a bit of his way or the highway type but in my mind that does not detract from recognizing he helped put on many events I really enjoyed driving over the years. He put me in my place two or three times and on reflection years later he was more right than wrong to do so.

I wish the best for his family. Here is to you John thanks for your part in letting me do silly things in the woods. I respect you and what you did for the sport.

Best.

Derek

Sorry to here of Johns passing. He was tough on Shawn and I at first but became big supporters of ours. We were always getting him to laugh or just plain boil over, both were fun to do. A big thank you for all his years of help. John and others like him are what make rallies happen.

Thank you John,

Todd

Sad news. Last time I saw him, was probably 20 years ago or more.
