Video post from SS

So I posted this on specialstage, but I know not everyone frequents there as often and these videos are just to entertaining to watch. I need to get my car back together. I've been keeping the area around the car well shoveled so that there won't be drifts that I have to fight through while I'm working on it tonight. New wheels just came in so now it's time to get some new snow tires!

Anyhow, here's the post with pics and links.

With this years Max Attack, Jake and I are counting on some pictures and videos that look more similar to this from all you 2WD guys.

It's like Ken Block said, "If your not scared, your not going fast enough."

I mean, these guys are the Juniors. Like a bunch of Seed 8 drivers. We just have too many rookie classes trying to scare our rookies and make them think they are awaiting impeding death and the goal is to just have fun and make sure you finish. **** that. You should want to win. You could be the next Tommi Makinen but I've seen your car and that silly thing you call a tow vehicle and your not going to get there racing AWD. So come go crazy with Max Attack.

Now these, these are the top guys. Count how many look like they are driving at 110% plus a few. I can't recall ever seeing or watching anything from US 2WD rally that looked anywhere near that committed. Nor do I recall hearing any 2WD rally car that sounded that pissed. Seriously though. Try to count. I couldn't. Because it's every car shown. The second spot they film from is pretty sweet to.

Noticed how Corollas are gay.
Just kidding. Corollas are one of three rally cars that are cool.

You've gotta love those spectators. Tow/pull rope always at the ready and they even worked as a team to get the corolla turned over...that's professionalism. Not that I'm advocating spectators go out into the middle of a hot stage over here, because insurance comapnies would have a fit, thus making our sport even more expensive.

Loved the black Beemer at the 5min mark on the second vid. As he comes into the frame, you can see he's been off in the tulies already once that day. (Driver's headlight looked to be absent.) But he was right on the limit through that whole section. Looks like his car changes direction by as much as 180* back and forth before he gets out of there. That was bad ass.

Boys, go back again and watch the tight inside lines those guys take consistently, or at least the best of them.
Real dancing with the car.

It appears that "real" rally fans:

-spectate with a tow strap
-Are fully willing to reconstruct a power/telephone pole after you knock it over
-barely flinch at cars yardsaling about 20ft from them
-will blow the flames out in your engine compartment after they roll your car over

Awesome vid...we suck

These videos look like Canadian rallying.

The driving, the spectator support, etc..
