Check areas that sold a ton of Subarus and no rust. Colorado is a good one.

You aren't looking hard enough! I have owned 3:

- 97 Outback - purchased $500 (high mileage but running) - sold for $1000
- 02 WRX - purchased $750 (from a friend rusty but running - DD'd it for 3 years) - sold for $3K
- 05 WRX Wagon - purchased $500 - project car (blown motor - but clean shell) - still own

They're like a sleep number bed. Comfortable but not for everyone. What car is a round bed? Sucks for sleep but awesome for threesomes. That reminds me of a comedy joke about butt sex and brocolli. If you have it as a kid, you'll hate it as an adult.

98 to 2001 integra, easy to upgrade to serious performance lots parts available if you go v tec engine wise, sure suspension travel aint the greatest but if youre cutting teeth having lots of junkyard/craigslist/crashed rice mobiles makes it cost effective. im building a 1990 sedan because i have 3 of em. put a buncha time into welding chassis onna crx engine swap ect ect to not fit in it properly to save my life if it rolls, reason im telling you this is some advice i got here. pick something that has tons of parts and r and d for cheap if you ain't rich like me, put a good suspension and tires under it, reinforce strut towers and cage it, tie the cage to the chassis and go rally. if you really like it, tegs are so cheap you can have one in the bat cave building stronger as you wreck stuff on your concubine.
hope this helps.
just bout a 03 wrx spec r1 for a winter driver and after getting it jazzed up i would never wanna pay the ticket to rally one, too pricey

Civic's n tegs are the same car
I can't imagine integra being better tho they are longer and heavier and less parts for integra vs civic and more expensive
civic=win
And if I had it my way I would be in a 02 rsx type s

Re: civic vs neon

nope not the same car. not even close. youll need engine mounts n shift linkage just for starters unless you clock a civic sir. then you're getting out of the 5$ per window urethaneable stock engine mount into 100 bucks for a set of used mounts that may not be best suited for rally. rsx is a good choice of chassis and are getting cheap enough it might be worth your time.
but like previously stated oem equipment is quite bulletproof from honda. enough to suspend it, put good tires on it, reinforce the strut towers, cage it, go rally.
coming from the guy who hasn't run a rally yet keep it simple and youll have a shit ton of fun
